로드아일랜드 한인학교 학부형께

 

여름동안 잘 지내셨는지요? 아직 더위가 꺾이지 않고 있지만 개학을 준비하려고 합니다. 지난 해에 여러분이 도와주신 덕분에 학교에서 직접 환자가 나오지 않고 학교를 잘 마쳤습니다. 이번에도 모두 같이 애써서 큰일 없이 지나기를 바랍니다.

1. 9월 15일에 2023-24학년도를 시작합니다. 하던 대로 시간은 매주 금요일 6시에서 9시까지이고 올해는 다시 온라인 등록을 받습니다. 아래에 있는 link를 이용하셔서 등록하시기 바랍니다.

2. 첫날은 5시 30분부터 학교를 엽니다. 등록을 안 하신 부모들께서는 일찍 나오셔서 등록하시기 바랍니다. 등록을 하신 학부형들께서도 등록금을 내시고 등록을 마치시기 위해 6시 이전에 오시기 바랍니다. 

3. 학급은 5살 유치반부터 성인반까지 있습니다. 장소는 계속해서 시온한인연합감리교회에서 합니다. (35 Kilvert Street, Warwick, RI)

4. 학비는 지난 해와 같습니다. 아이들 간식비용($30)을 포함해 학생 당 $230입니다. (둘째: $210, 셋째: $190)

5. 여름에 다시 코로나 환자가 늘었다는 뉴스가 나왔지만 계절적인 것으로 올해는 마스크를 벗고 시작하려고 합니다. 다시 써야하는 일이 생기면 다시 연락드리겠습니다.

6. 아이들이 마스크를 벗겠지만 올해도 등록하는 날을 빼고는 학부형들은 건물에 들어오지 않는 것을 원칙으로 하겠습니다. 시간 외에는 문이 잠겨 있으니 혹시 늦어지거나 일찍 데려가셔야 하면 저에게 연락하시기 바랍니다. (교장 김희몽: 401-261-1640)

Dear Parents of RI Korean School Students,
 

We hope you and your family are doing well over the summer. With your support and cooperation, we completed our school year last year without a single COVID-19 incident. Thank you, and we are hoping we can rely on you this year as well for a safe, successful year. A few notes we would like to share:

1) Our first day will be on September 15, and as we did last year, classes will go from 6-9 PM every Friday. You can register online this year. Please use the link below to start.

2) On our first day, we will open at 5:30 PM for you to come early and register your children and pay tuition before classes officially start. 

3) We offer classes for students 5 years old to adult. We will continue to meet at the Zion Korean United Methodist Church, 35 Kilvert Street, Warwick, RI.

4) Tuition will remain the same as previous years at $230/student (this covers tuition and snack costs). We will prepare snacks for your students each week. A 2nd enrolled child has a discounted tuition of $210 and a 3rd is $190.

5) Even though there have been some cases of COVID-19 this summer, it seems that the worst of the pandemic is over and we are planning on holding classes without a mask requirement. If anything changes, we will let you know.

6) The kids won't need to wear masks, but we will still ask parents to wait outside the building while class is in session. The only exception will be when parents register their children on the first day. The doors will be locked through the duration of class, so if you are late to drop off your student or you need to pick them up early, please call me at 401-261-1640.

Please know that we have been doing our best to juggle the best experience for students and teachers, with the smartest and most conservative health standards to ensure we don't spread any illness during school.
